Turkey is a well known and well visited nation. This is a Eurasian country that stretches across the Anatolian peninsula. The nation of Turkey borders a total of eight countries. The countries bordering Turkey include Bulgaria to the northwest; Greece to the west, Georgia in the north eastern side; Armenia, Azerbaijan and Iran to the eastern side. The nations of Iraq and Syria lie to the southeastern side of Turkey. The Mediterranean Sea and Cyprus both lie to the southern side while the Aegean Sea and Archipelago lie to the west. The senior citizens with 65 years of age or above constitute the remaining 7.1 % of the total population.
